Questions
Asked on most calls,
usually about money.
How fast can you get here?
For a leak that will not stop, usually within forty minutes inside Saint Paul. For anything that can wait we book a visit, most often within three working days.
Do you charge to come out?
A booked visit costs $95 and comes off the bill if we do the work. Emergency call-outs after 7 pm start at $180.
Will I know the price before you start?
Yes. We look, we give you a fixed price, and nothing is opened or cut until you say yes.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold a Minnesota plumbing contractor licence, we are bonded, and we carry $2 million of liability cover. The certificate is in the van.
Is the work guaranteed?
Twelve months on labour. Parts carry the maker’s warranty, and we handle the claim if one fails.
Do you work on old houses?
Most of our work is in houses built before 1940: galvanised supply lines, cast-iron stacks, radiators on gravity loops. We would rather repair than rip out.
