Elbow is a small plumbing and heating firm on Selby Avenue. We work on the houses within about twenty minutes of the workshop, and most of them were built before 1940.
We would rather repair a thing than replace it, and we will tell you when that stops being true.
Halvor Lindqvist started the firm in 1998 with one van and a rented bay behind a hardware store. The work then was what it is now: old supply lines, cast-iron stacks, radiators that had not been balanced since they were hung.
We stay small on purpose. The plumber who looks at the job is the one who does it, the price is agreed before anything is opened, and the same person comes back if something is not right.
